Performing with "vibrant energy, brilliant coherence and and and an effortless visual elegance" (The Daily Telegraph), Scottish Ballet, the country's national dance company, makes its Joyce debut with three New York premieres. The roster includes Christopher Bruce's "Ten Poems," which focuses on the theme of nostalgia in a piece set to a rhythmic reading of Dylan Thomas' poems. Also on the program is Artistic Director Christopher Hampson's "Sintonietta Giocosa, heralded by The New York Times for ushering in a "masterly new choreographic voice.
