Modern Cinema as we know it in many ways is divided into BA and AA: Before Antonioni and After Antonioni. Over a decade of the 60's he brought an austere beauty to his Italian films. This week (August 21-27) at the Metograph you can see six of his films. Time is limited, try to make sure to see "L'Avventura" starring Monica Vitti, Lea Massari, and Gabriele Ferzetti).
